Using this site

This website is operated by Chile Fly Fishing, a guided fly fishing operation based in Coyhaique, Chilean Patagonia. By browsing the site, sending an enquiry or requesting a reservation you accept the terms set out on this page. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

What the site is for

The site presents our waters, guides and trips, publishes field notes about fishing in Patagonia, and lets you send an enquiry or start a reservation. It is not a place to submit sensitive personal documents, and it is not intended for children.

Content and ownership

• Our materialPhotographs, video, written guides, river descriptions, logos and page design on this site belong to Chile Fly Fishing or to the photographers and guides who produced them for us. They are published so you can decide whether to fish with us, not for reuse.
• What you may doYou may read, print and share links to any page for personal, non-commercial use, and quote short passages with clear attribution and a link back to the page.
• What you may not doRepublishing our images or text as your own, using them in commercial or promotional material, or scraping the site to rebuild it elsewhere requires our written permission first. Write to us and ask; we answer.

Accuracy of what we publish

• River conditions, hatches, water levels and seasonal advice describe what we have observed and can change without notice. They are guidance for planning, never a guarantee of how a given day will fish.
• Fishing regulations, licences and access rules are set by Chilean authorities and can change at any time. The official source prevails over anything published here.
• Prices, dates and availability shown on the site are indicative until they are confirmed in writing for your specific trip.

Trip bookings

Requesting a reservation through this site starts a conversation; a trip is confirmed when we confirm it to you in writing. The commercial conditions that apply to your trip — what is included, payment, changes and cancellation — are the ones presented and agreed at the time of booking, together with the terms of the payment provider used to process it. Those conditions govern the trip; this page governs the site.

Third-party services

Some parts of the experience run on services we do not operate: payments and booking checkout, maps, embedded video, analytics and our social media profiles. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use them, and we are not responsible for the content of external sites we link to.

Your safety on the water

Fly fishing in Patagonia involves wading, boats, remote terrain and changing weather. Nothing on this site replaces the instructions of your guide on the day, and the decision to fish a given water in given conditions always rests with the guiding team.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided as it is: we do not promise uninterrupted access or that every page is free of error. To the extent permitted by law, Chile Fly Fishing is not liable for indirect or incidental losses arising from the use of this website. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Chilean law.

Privacy

How we handle the information you send us, and how you control optional analytics cookies, is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile, and any dispute arising from the use of this site is subject to the courts of Coyhaique, Región de Aysén.
